These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Clearline, Inc.'s ("Clearline," "we," "us," or "our") services, including our website at helloclearline.com and our scam call detection and alert service. By signing up for Clearline, you agree to these Terms.

Service Description

Clearline provides AI-powered phone scam detection for seniors. Our service monitors calls to a protected phone line, analyzes them in real time for scam indicators, and sends SMS alerts to a designated guardian when a potential threat is detected.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Clearline. By enrolling a senior in our service, you represent that you have their knowledge and consent to provide scam call protection on their line.

Account and Payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe at the rate displayed at checkout. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

SMS Communications

By providing your mobile phone number during checkout at helloclearline.com, you consent to receive SMS messages from Clearline, including real-time fraud alert notifications, weekly call activity summaries, and account and service notifications.

Message frequency varies based on call activity. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact team@helloclearline.com. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

Limitations of Service

Clearline is a supplementary protection tool and does not guarantee detection of all scam calls. Our AI system may produce false positives (flagging legitimate calls) or false negatives (missing scam calls). Clearline is not a substitute for personal judgment, law enforcement, or financial institution fraud protection. We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from scam calls, whether or not our system detected or failed to detect the scam.

Call Recording and Analysis Consent

Clearline analyzes call audio in real time for scam detection purposes. A disclosure is played at the beginning of monitored calls informing all parties that the call may be recorded and analyzed. By using our service, you consent to this monitoring and analysis on the protected line.

Intellectual Property

All content, technology, and branding associated with Clearline are the property of Clearline, Inc. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our service without written permission.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use our service in a manner that is harmful, fraudulent, or disruptive. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Clearline is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clearline, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
